OUR ENROLMENT POLICY

PRIORITY OF ACCESS -

Whilst we cater for children 3 - 5 years of age, the State Government requires Preschool to fill the places according to the following priorities:

Priority of access is given to – 
⦁    Children who are at risk of significant harm
⦁    Children with an Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander background
⦁    Children from Low Income families
⦁    Children with Additional Needs 
⦁    Children in the year before school (at least 4 years old on/or before 31st July in the year the child attends preschool and is not in compulsory schooling

The Federal Government has confirmed that Health Care Cards issued in the child’s name only are not means tested. Therefore, Health Care Cards with just the child’s name on it will not be accepted.

If your child is on our waiting list, please inform us of any changes in your circumstances which will assist with the enrolment process.

All efforts will be made to contact applicants for vacancies it is your responsibility to contact us if any information should change

​

A NEW application will need to be made if original application is cancelled by the parents.

​

Applications cannot be processed unless it is accompanied by the $25 non-refundable administration fee.
