Orientation Day for Children Attending 2024

ORIENTATION MORNING  – 6th September 2023

The staff at Concord Kindergarten are looking forward to meeting you on your child at our orientation session.

We do have some procedures that need to be followed to ensure the safety of all at the preschool.

• Firstly, a maximum of 2 adults can accompany the enrolled child into the service. You are encouraged to find alternative arrangements/care for any siblings.
• Hand sanitiser will be available
• You will then need to sign in 
• Children are then to use the bathroom inside to wash their hands with soap and water.

You will then visit the table on the stage area to ensure we have recorded your child’s hat size and colour and the size of your Ready Steady Go uniform if you have paid for it.

Your child will also choose their morning tea bag which you will be able to take home with you.

Then you are encouraged to explore the environment, with your child.

Approximately 20 minutes after arrival the teachers of each room will meet with the parents for an information session.The children will be able to participate in a group time with the Educators in the rooms or continue to explore the environment.

                                         These sessions are strictly limited to one (1) hour

Please Note:     We have organised a PUPIL Free Day to accommodate this orientation day for you. Attendance is very important and beneficial and if missed, we cannot guarantee a re-do before commencement in 2023
